Every athlete who enters Velocity RX begins with a Performance Evaluation™.
During that evaluation we examine:
* How the athlete moves
* How the athlete throws
* Injury history
* Medical history
* Athletic strengths
* Athletic weaknesses
* Injury risk factors
* Performance limitations
The goal is simple.
Find out what is holding the athlete back.
Only then do we begin development.
Every athlete begins with a comprehensive Performance Evaluation™ designed to understand injury history, performance goals, movement limitations, and injury risk.
Using the G.A.M.E. Test™, movement analysis, and mechanical analysis, we identify exactly what is limiting performance and increasing injury risk.
Every athlete receives an individualized prescription designed specifically for their needs.
No generic programs.
No guessing.
No one-size-fits-all solutions.
The athlete follows a customized development plan focused on arm health, command, velocity, movement efficiency, and long-term success.

DIVISION I SCHOLARSHIP
When Tyler Ruhl came to Velocity RX, he was throwing approximately 84 mph with arm pain and declining college opportunities.
After completing the Velocity RX process and following his individualized prescription, Tyler reached 92 mph pain free, opened the season with 41 consecutive scoreless innings, and earned a Division I scholarship.
THORACIC OUTLET SYNDROME TO 97 MPH
BOSTON RED SOX ORGANIZATION
Austin Ehrlicher returned home with thoracic outlet syndrome, shoulder pain, elbow pain, and declining velocity.
After completing the Velocity RX evaluation process and following his individualized prescription, Austin returned to professional baseball pain free and increased his velocity to 97 mph.
Because parents are tired of guessing.
They are tired of hearing ten different opinions from ten different coaches.
They are tired of programs that promise results without ever evaluating the athlete.
Velocity RX provides answers.
Not opinions.
Data.
Not guesses.
A process.
Not hope.
Parents finally understand:
* What is wrong
* Why it is happening
* What needs to improve
* How improvement will be measured
That clarity changes everything.
Velocity RX was built on a simple mission.
Save One Million Arms™.
Not by creating more drills.
Not by creating more gimmicks.
Not by creating more confusion.
By helping athletes understand how their bodies move.
By identifying injury risk before injuries happen.
By creating healthier, smarter, more resilient pitchers.
One athlete at a time.
— Dr. Kevin J. McGovern, PT, CSCS
Before you can improve performance, you must understand performance.
Before you can improve mechanics, you must understand movement.
Before you can reduce injury risk, you must identify injury risk.
Every athlete starts with a Velocity RX Performance Evaluation™.
Because development without evaluation is guessing.
Every year, thousands of young pitchers suffer avoidable injuries. Poor movement patterns, flawed coaching, and outdated training methods fail our athletes.
The Velocity RX Movement was created to change that. Founded by Dr. Kevin McGovern, PT, a nationally recognized physical therapist and movement expert, this program delivers medically backed, science-based training to prevent injury, increase velocity, and build better athletes.
